A tangle of old wires in a forgotten drawer, a collection of uncharged, outdated phones despite owning the latest model — what keeps us from discarding technology when we no longer have a use for it? As someone who can equate years of my life to a specific generation of new phone model while growing up, I wanted to finally let go of my own technological relics to create this piece. This display acts as a time capsule of my own personal electronics and is a comment on the growing collection of old devices among technology consumers that would otherwise be deemed as waste.
