I’ve always had a fascination with any object that turns out not to be what it originally appeared to be. Years ago, in a London agency reception, I once saw a tangled mesh of chicken wire suspended from the ceiling with a spotlight intermittently casting a shadow as it rotated. I couldn’t work out what it was! It was only when the wire mesh was perfectly aligned and timed with the spotlight that the shadow cast revealed all…
