(Hanging Glass Gardens)

Recycled jars, shattered glass beer bottles, cinnamon sticks and plant material
210mm x 1000mm

These hanging glass gardens take their inspiration from their historic namesake, using recycled jars and shattered glass beer bottles to recreate one of the 7 wonders of the world. Derived from the Greek word κρεμαστός, which has a broader meaning than the modern English word ‘hanging’ and refers to plants being planted on a raised structure. Revered as a remarkable feat of engineering. It is unclear whether the Hanging Gardens were an actual construction or a poetic creation. It is safe to say that these hanging gardens definitely are not a figment of your imagination but a sight to behold.
